What does a typical day look like when you manage holiday homes on the Côte d’Azur?

Managing villas on the Côte d’Azur might sound like sunshine, sea views, and easy days by the pool; but reality is a little different. Behind every smooth guest arrival, there’s a day full of details, coordination, and problem-solving.

Ever wondered what a typical Saturday looks like for a property manager in high season? Spoiler: there’s no such thing as “typical.”

🎥 Watch our video below for a glimpse behind the scenes. No filters, no script, just a real day in the life of a Côte d’Azur property manager.

Mornings start early

The day starts  early with personal check-outs, quick chata with departing guests and a strong coffee. Then it’s time for villa inspections It’s part detective work, part logistics: spotting what needs attention before the next arrival.and those little “surprises” guests leave behind.

The unexpected always happens

No two days are ever the same. A wasp nest? Sure. A fridge that suddenly retired overnight? Why not. A broken bed? Of course, on a Saturday. The phone rings, the cleaning team needs a code, and someone’s linen order changes last minute. It’s all part of the rhythm.

Coordination is everything

While juggling fixes, we’re also checking in with cleaning teams to make sure everything’s spotless before new guests walk in. Timing is everything: linens, towels, and shiny terraces need to be ready right on schedule. Our goal: a smooth handover between guests and a perfect first impression.

The best part of the job

Handing over a perfect house and seeing the new guests arrive with that first “wow” look — that’s what makes the long day worth it.

And when the last check-in is done and the phone finally stops buzzing, there’s that quiet moment on the terrace, a glass of wine, and the satisfaction of another Saturday well managed.

If you own a villa on the Côte d’Azur, in Sainte-Maxime, Grimaud or Les Issambres, and want to know what real property management looks like, here’s your glimpse behind the scenes.
